Pre-Mobilization Checklist

Helpful Hints—Annual Mission/Objectives/Goals for Unit Commanders

Personnel Readiness:

  • Attain and maintain end strength mission (focus on a specific number or percent).
  • Maintain an 18% or less attrition rate.
  • Attain and maintain a minimum 85% senior grade and MOSQ available.
  • Develop and implement a counseling program for all soldiers flagged, with an emphasis on returning them to a favorable status.
  • Develop and implement a program designed to prepare subordinates for career development/advancement.
  • Conduct annual readiness drill focused on Soldier Readiness Processing

Training Readiness:

  • Attain a 90% MOS qualification rate of total assigned strength.
  • Attain and maintain ARNG pre-mobilization objectives.
  • Ensure 100% of eligible unit personnel take the APFT.
  • Ensure 100% of unit personnel complete annual weapons qualification.
  • Conduct annual civil disturbance training.
  • Conduct required field training exercises.
  • Conduct a successful annual training event.

Logistics readiness:

  • Service all equipment as required.
  • Conduct 100% federal and state property inventories.
  • Attain and maintain a minimum 92% Fully Mission Capable (FMC) equipment readiness rating.

Improve "Quality of Life" for Soldiers, Their Families and Employers:

  • Schedule periodic awards to recognize soldiers, family support workers and employers.
  • Develop, implement and maintain effective Family Support and employer support programs.
  • Annual family day activities to include the commander's briefing.
  • Complete at least one approved Civic Action Project and one approved Drug Demand
  • Reduction Project.

Inspection Preparedness

  • Prepare for Command Inspections.
  • Annual Mobilization Exercise (MOBEX).
  • Organization Inspection Program.
  • Physical Security.
