What is PDHRA?

We recognize that deployment may have an impact on your health and well-being. In an effort to identify and treat your deployment-related health concerns, we have implemented the Post Deployment Health Reassessment (PDHRA) Program. This program provides education, screening, assessment and an opportunity to access care for a wide variety of questions and concerns you may have about your health after you return from deployment.

What can the PDHRA do for me?
While deployed, you were focused on the mission at hand. Now that you have returned, it is time to focus on your life, your health and your future. We encourage you to take advantage of the healthcare and community services available to you through participation in the PDHRA.

How do I participate in PDHRA?
You should complete the PDHRA three-to-six months after returning from deployment. Your unit commander will notify you when it’s time to complete the reassessment during a drill weekend or annual training. Some commanders may direct their Soldiers to complete the PDHRA through the Internet or over the phone. Read more...
