Architecture
The Well-Being philosophy is summarized by its four major components (strategic goals):
- An opportunity for service and meaningful personal development in a disciplined environment (to serve).
- A competitive standard of living for all Soldiers, civilians, and their families (to live).
- A unique culture, sense of community, and record of accomplishment that engenders intense pride and sense of belonging among Soldiers, civilians, and their families (to connect).
- An environment that allows Soldiers, civilians, and their families to enrich their personal life by achieving their individual aspirations (to grow).
The categories link these strategic goals (to serve, to live, to grow, to connect) to major groups of programs having similar features: Army Ethos, Pay & Compensation, Health Care, Housing & Workplace Environment, Education & Development, Family Programs and Cohesion.
